Continue trekking through dense forests and rocky trails while crossing several suspension bridges over fast-flowing rivers. The route enters the beautiful Kanchenjunga Conservation Area, offering spectacular natural scenery.

Today’s trail climbs steadily through bamboo forests, waterfalls, and narrow valleys. The peaceful environment and changing landscapes make this one of the most enjoyable days of the trek.

The trail passes beautiful rhododendron forests and traditional Tibetan settlements while offering increasingly impressive mountain scenery. Arrive at the peaceful village of Gyabla for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, continue trekking through beautiful pine and rhododendron forests while following the Ghunsa Khola. The trail passes waterfalls, yak pastures, and traditional Tibetan settlements before reaching the picturesque village of Ghunsa. This charming village is one of the largest settlements in the Kanchenjunga region and is home to ancient monasteries, prayer flags, and friendly local people.

Today is reserved for acclimatization to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude. You can explore the village, visit the local monastery, or take a short hike to nearby viewpoints for spectacular views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. This important rest day greatly improves your chances of safely reaching Kanchenjunga Base Camp.

Today’s trail follows the Ghunsa Khola through alpine forests, rocky landscapes, and glacial valleys. As you gain altitude, enjoy breathtaking views of Jannu (Kumbhakarna), snow-covered mountains, and massive glaciers. The peaceful surroundings and dramatic Himalayan scenery make this one of the most memorable days of the trek.

After breakfast, continue descending through beautiful forests, terraced farmland, and traditional Limbu villages while following the Tamor River. The trail offers peaceful surroundings, waterfalls, suspension bridges, and excellent opportunities to observe local rural life. Upon reaching Mitlung, relax and enjoy your final evening in the Himalayan foothills.

Today’s final trekking day follows scenic trails through cultivated fields, cardamom farms, forests, and charming mountain villages. Upon arriving in Taplejung, celebrate the successful completion of your Kanchenjunga Base Camp trekking adventure with your guide and fellow trekkers.
