Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after we receive the required deposit and send you a written booking confirmation. Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive all necessary trip details, payment information, and preparation guidelines. It is your responsibility to review the information carefully and notify us immediately if any details are incorrect.
Payment Policy
A deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid before the start of your trip or upon your arrival in Nepal, as specified in your booking confirmation. Payments can be made through bank transfer, online payment services, or other approved payment methods. Any bank transfer fees or transaction charges are the responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges may apply depending on how close the cancellation is to the departure date and the costs already incurred for permits, transportation, accommodation, or other services. Some payments, including permit fees and non-refundable reservations, may not be eligible for a refund. Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method used.
Changes to the Itinerary
Travel in the Himalayas is subject to weather conditions, natural events, transportation delays, government regulations, and other circumstances beyond our control. For the safety and well-being of our clients, Tamang Eco Treks & Expedition reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any itinerary when necessary. Any changes will always be made with the best interests of our travelers in mind.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers and is mandatory for high-altitude trekking and climbing trips. Your insurance should include emergency medical treatment, helicopter evacuation, trip cancellation, personal accidents, loss of baggage, and other travel-related risks. Travelers are responsible for arranging appropriate insurance before arriving in Nepal.
Passport, Visa, and Travel Documents
All travelers must carry a valid passport with sufficient validity and obtain the appropriate visa for Nepal before or upon arrival, depending on their nationality. Travelers are responsible for ensuring that all passports, visas, permits, vaccination records, and other required travel documents are valid and available throughout the trip.
Health and Fitness
Many trekking and climbing activities involve walking at high altitudes and require a reasonable level of physical fitness. Travelers should consult their doctor before booking if they have any medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate. Any existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements should be disclosed before the trip begins so that appropriate arrangements can be made whenever possible.
Responsibility and Liability
Tamang Eco Treks & Expedition takes every reasonable measure to provide safe, reliable, and high-quality travel services. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays, injuries, illnesses, accidents, loss or damage of personal belongings, flight cancellations, natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, weather conditions, or any other events beyond our reasonable control. Travelers participate in trekking and adventure activities at their own risk and are expected to follow the instructions provided by our guides throughout the journey.
Client Responsibilities
Travelers are expected to respect local customs, traditions, religious sites, wildlife, and the natural environment during their trip. Following the guidance of trekking leaders and respecting local laws contribute to a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Any behavior that endangers other travelers, staff members, or local communities may result in the termination of services without a refund.
Privacy Policy
Personal information collected during the booking process is used only for organizing your travel arrangements and communicating with you regarding your trip. We respect your privacy and do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except when required for permits, hotel reservations, transportation, government authorities, or legal obligations.
Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with Tamang Eco Treks & Expedition, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by the company unless otherwise agreed in writing.
